This policy explains what personal data PennyPerHour (pennyperhour.co.uk) collects and how it is used. The site is run by Owais Farooq, who is the data controller. Contact: hello@pennyperhour.co.uk.

The calculators

Everything you type into a calculator is processed in your own browser. It is not sent to us or stored anywhere.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider, Hostinger, keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. These are used to keep the site secure and working, and are deleted on the host’s normal schedule. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website.

If you email us

We keep your email and our reply only as long as needed to deal with it, and for no more than two years. We never add you to a mailing list.

Advertising

We may show adverts provided by Google AdSense. When adverts are switched on, Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to show ads and to measure them. Visitors in the UK, EEA and Switzerland will see a consent message from Google’s certified consent tool before any non-essential cookies are used, and can accept, refuse or change their choice at any time. If you refuse, Google may still show non-personalised ads.

Analytics

We do not currently use analytics cookies. If that changes, this policy and the consent message will be updated first.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how it is used. Email hello@pennyperhour.co.uk. If you are unhappy with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

We will update this page if anything changes, and show the new date at the top.
